Today's Verse

“Try to find out what is pleasing to the Lord” - Ephesians 5:10

Probably most of the content of our prayers are petitions that will only please us and make us happy. God owns everything, He is the giver of good gifts and the source of all blessings. Has it ever crossed our minds to consider finding out what pleases Him? When we say we live to glorify Him and His kingdom; do our actions and goals reflect to what we profess? Apostle Paul shared and enjoyed a very intimate relationship with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He was a prolific writer, preacher and teacher. Almost half of the New Testament consists of his writings. He spoke in tongues “more than all of you” (1 Corinthians 14:18) had visions, and revelations from the Lord (2 Corinthians 12). He experienced all the gifts and fruits of the Spirit during his lifetime. If we desire to experience the same things or anything close to it, we should diligently pray, fast, and ask for God’s will and what pleases Him. -

Today's Prayer

Heavenly Father, forgive us if we haven’t been seeking and doing the things that please You. Help us Lord to change. Please show us when we read Your Word, reveal to us Your desires, and the calling for our lives when we pray. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
